These Terms & Conditions govern all bookings made with Dune Raider Adventure ("we", "us", "our"), a Cairo-based desert tour operator run by Kareem Hossam. By booking a trip, you agree to the terms below.

 

Who We Are

Dune Raider Adventure offers multi-day and day-trip desert tours across Egypt's Western Desert oases, Fayoum, Siwa, and the wider Nile Valley, including Bahariya, the Black and White Deserts, and Siwa's salt lakes. Our programs are designed for foreign travelers and expats based in Egypt, led by Kareem Hossam, Egypt's first certified sandboarding instructor.

 

Booking & Payment

A booking is confirmed once the required deposit is received. The minimum time required to reserve your spot on any program is 24-36 hours before departure. Full payment is due according to the schedule confirmed at booking (typically before departure). Prices are quoted per person, per group, and per season, and may vary based on group size, accommodation availability, and exchange rates at time of travel; static currency figures shown on this site are indicative and confirmed at booking.

 

Cancellations & Refunds

Cancellation and refund terms are set out in full in our Return and Refund Policy. In summary: cancellations made 1 week (7+ days) or more before your reservation date receive a 50% refund; cancellations made less than 6 days before the reservation date are non-refundable.

 

Health, Fitness & Participant Conduct

Our programs involve travel over unpaved desert terrain, extended hours in vehicles, and activities such as sandboarding, dune driving, and camping in variable temperatures. Travelers are responsible for disclosing any medical condition that could affect their ability to participate safely, and for bringing any required personal medication. We reserve the right to remove any participant from a trip, without refund, whose conduct endangers themselves, other travelers, or our guides and crew.

 

Itinerary Changes

Itineraries are planned in good faith but may be adjusted by your guide in the field due to weather, road conditions, site closures, or group safety. We will always aim to substitute a comparable stop or activity where a planned element cannot go ahead.

 

Travel Documents & Insurance

Travelers are responsible for holding a valid passport, any required Egyptian entry visa, and comprehensive travel insurance covering medical evacuation and trip cancellation. We strongly recommend insurance that explicitly covers desert 4x4 travel and adventure activities.

 

Liability

Dune Raider Adventure takes reasonable care in selecting vehicles, drivers, guides, and campsites, and follows standard desert-safety practice. To the extent permitted by Egyptian law, we are not liable for loss, injury, or delay arising from circumstances outside our reasonable control, including weather, road conditions, third-party services (hotels, cruise operators, domestic airlines), or a traveler's own actions.

 

Photography

We may photograph or film group activities for marketing purposes. Let your guide know at the start of the trip if you'd prefer not to be included, and we will respect that.

 

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt.
