Refund policy

Dune Raider Adventure is a Cairo-based desert tour operator run by Kareem Hossam, offering multi-day and day-trip programs across Egypt's Western Desert oases, Fayoum, Siwa, and the Nile Valley. Because vehicles, guides, camps, and permits are booked and paid for in advance of your trip, our cancellation and refund policy is as follows:

 

Minimum Booking Window

The minimum time required to reserve your spot on any Dune Raider Adventure program is 24-36 hours before departure. Bookings made after this window cannot be guaranteed.

 

Cancellation & Refund Policy

1 week (7+ days) or more before your reservation date: 50% refund of amounts paid.

Less than 6 days before your reservation date: No refund.

Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing (email or WhatsApp) and are effective as of the date received.

 

Cancellation or Changes by Dune Raider Adventure

If we cancel a departure (for example due to insufficient group size, government restriction, or safety concern), you will be offered a full refund or the option to transfer your payment to another available date at no extra cost.

 

Weather, Safety & Force Majeure

Egypt's Western Desert, Sinai, and Nile Valley routes can be affected by weather, road conditions, or circumstances outside our control. Where a program must be shortened, re-routed, or postponed for safety reasons, we will work with you on a partial credit or rescheduled date. Refunds are not guaranteed in force majeure situations (natural disasters, civil unrest, government action, pandemics, and similar events beyond our control).

 

Non-Refundable Items

International/domestic flights, visa fees, travel insurance, and any optional activities booked separately (hot-air balloon, entry to Tutankhamun's tomb, etc.) are non-refundable through Dune Raider Adventure and are subject to the relevant third party's own policy.

 

How to Request a Refund

Contact us at info@duneraideradventure.com with your booking reference. Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method within 14 business days.
